Daniel G. Anderson is the Joseph R. Mares (1924) Professor of Chemical Engineering, and a core member of the Institute for Medical Engineering and Science, and the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research. He is a leading researcher in the fields of nanotherapeutics and biomaterials. Prof. Anderson’s work has led to advances in a range of areas, including medical devices, cell therapy, drug delivery, gene therapy and material science, and has resulted in the publication of more than 550 papers, patents, and patent applications.

The symposium takes place at Berg Hall, second floor of the Li Ka Shing Learning and Knowledge Center (LKSC), conveniently located within walking distance of the Stock Farm Garage.

  • Access: Follow directional signs to the main staircase or elevators facing the temporary parking zone.

  • Navigation: Refer to the "Red Star" on the official map for the exact walking path.

Primary parking is available at the Stock Farm Garage and ground lot (Stock Farm Rd & Oak Rd).

  • Visitors: Use ground lot spaces marked with green signage.

  • Payment: All visitor parking is managed via the ParkMobile smartphone app.

  • Faculty/Staff: Standard paid permit areas are available throughout the vicinity.
