Haiyin Chen is a research scientist with over 15 years of experience applying computational biology and machine learning to advance drug discovery and precision medicine. Prior to Stanford, she held leadership roles at Amgen, Genentech, Adaptive Biotechnologies, and Argonaut Genomics, where she led innovative research programs related to target discovery, biomarker identification, and computational modeling, with particular focus on novel antigen discovery from non-coding regions of the human genome, and immune receptor and repertoire modeling.

Haiyin earned her Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and B.S.E. in Electrical Engineering at Princeton University.
