Roman is a computational and experimental RNA biologist working to enable highly programmable prophylactic and curative RNA therapeutics. Prior to RAMP, Roman developed an RNA liquid biopsy approach during his PhD at UC Santa Cruz and worked on DNA liquid biopsies in industry. Now focused on therapeutic application, Roman is engineering high-throughput screening approaches to enable robust modeling of application-specific RNA designs.
